Monte's Economy Prefold Packages

Monte Prefold Packages:

You may ask what these are. I have put together what I like to call economy prefold packages there is 3 of them and the diaper covers that I am providing with them are from www.diaperkit.com

These wrap covers are a single layer of PUL with Aplix closures and bound in soft FOE. In the sets I am charging $8.50 a cover. These will be sewn and ready for use for you after you have washed them of course. I wanted to bring you a cloth diapering option that will allow you to diaper your child up to 30lbs for under $300.

I first used these wonderful covers when I purchased 1 from Lisa at Ecowraps. I was amazed on how well they fit and worked on my heavy wetter. These covers also fit well over my Sugar Plum Baby Diapers and the Heiny Huggers that I liked to use on my son.

These packages should give you an economical way to get your cloth diaper stash started with out costing you lots and lots of money. The packages I have put together are:

1. Monte's Economy Prefold Mega Package

• Consists of:
• 36 Infant Indian Cotton Prefolds Size 7lbs to 15lbs
• 24 Premium Indian Cotton Prefolds(you can add 6 to 12 prefolds as an option) size 15lbs to 30 lbs
• 15 Monte Wraps.

2. Monte Infant Economy Prefold Diaper Package

• Consists of:
• 36 Infant Indian Cotton Prefolds Size 7lbs to 15lbs
• 6 Monte Wraps.

• Single Layer PUL covers bond in FOE
• 2 different sizes Available
  
• Size 1 Birth to 10lbs
• Size 2 10lbs to 20lbs
• You pick the sizes

3. Monte Premium Economy Prefold Diaper Package

• Consists of:
• 30 Premium Indian Cotton Prefolds Size 15lbs to 30lbs
• 5 Monte Wraps.

• Single Layer PUL covers bond in FOE
• The Monte Wraps are a Size3 (20lbs to 30lbs)
• Aplix Closures for a snugger fit
• You will save $15.50 on this package

One thing I am doing with all of these packages is giving you a free 15 pack of Flannel Wipes you will also be able to add fasteners if you would like, to all the packages and in the Mega Package there is a Wahmies Pail Liner . If you want, you will be able to upgrade some of your prefold to Hand Dyed Prefolds.

Now since the covers need to be sewn it will take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks to ship this to you. At first I need to build up my diaper cuts of the covers but once I have a good supply then we will be hitting the 1 week mark on these packages.

I never found a love for prefolds when I was diapering my son, but now in hind site I wished I had used them in the Newborn and Infant stages. Think about it, your little one really is not crawling or moving around a lot that would cause leaks. Now with my power wetter and pooper I do not regret using Fitted Diapers and AIO"S at the moving and grooving stages. LOL Once they start they never stop. If you have a heavy wetter I strongly recommend fitted diapers with doublers and a good diaper cover to do the trick.

My hope with these packages is to give an affordable start to your cloth diapers stash. You should be able to go about 2 days with these stashes before needing to wash. But, if you are like me you probably will have lots more diapers and go 3 days.

I am actually finding a love of prefolds

Ok I never thought I would ever use prefolds. I was wrong. I love love diaper cover wraps. I have been taking a few prefold diapers and folding them into 3Rd's and laying them in the diaper cover wraps and wrapping them on.

They fit Allen great the prefolds with a doubler work well on my heavy wetter and I have a fun inexpensive way to cloth diaper.

You can find embellished and hand dyed prefolds to make things interesting. Also the PUL wraps can be found in lots of colors and prints. My son is currently started to out grow his size larges and I am very torn with having to replace his fitted stash with XL's considering he is over 2 and may, or may not potty learn soon.

I think I have found my alternative and it will not cost as much. Considering Prefolds are about 1.75 to 7 depending on what you get. I will probably never use a Snappi or diaper pins but I love the wrap idea with the prefolds. So I will have to show you my progress. Most likely I will make him Very Baby Snug Wraps and or Diaper Kit Wraps. I have tons of pul so it just makes sense.
